| Tsunami
High Flow Extractor Meets Tough Cleaning Challenge |
|
|
While
exhibiting at the BSCAI show in Dallas recently, a contract
cleaner that owns companies in the U.S. and England asked
Pacific to recommend a solution for cleaning 20 passenger
box cars in England. Because of a tight turnaround schedule,
he would have only 24 hours to clean and dry the 14-year
old carpet that had only been vacuumed periodically and
was matted and badly soiled.
The
contractor thought he'd have problems getting a self-contained
extractor in the cramped quarters as well as reaching underneath
bunks and seats. The carpet was in such bad shape, he also
was afraid that the weight from a full self-contained extractor
might stretch or rip the carpet. He had access to water
in the cabins, but dumping and filling extractors could
be a problem.
|
|
Pacific provided the perfect solution by introducing the contractor
to the Tsunami high flow extractor. It is lightweight, compact
in size with a low profile and retrieves 94% of moisture from
the carpet for faster drying time. The cleaning process is
simple, too.
Just
spray high traffic pre-treat chemical onto carpet and briefly
allow to dwell. Then use the Tsunami extractor to flush out
chemical and soil from carpet fibers at a flow rate of 3-4
gallons per minute. There's no need for a beater brush, as
the high water flow efficiently loosens and removes dirt and
residue from carpet. Its direct water hookup allows for continuous
cleaning as clean water is dispensed and the auto-bilge pumps
out dirty water as it's retrieved. There's no need to move
the unit to a floor train, toilet or wash tub to empty the
tank and refill with fresh water. The model's powerful vacuum
system leaves carpet dry and ready for foot traffic in as
little as 1-2 hours.
What's
more, at only 36 lbs. with a 14" cleaning width, the Tsunami
allows operators to get into even the tightest spaces and
along walls - places that are hard to reach with a self-contained
extractor. The contractor's operators would also be able to
work nearly non-stop with far less fatigue than if they used
heavier, self-contained extractors.
|
| Further,
the Tsunami extractor can improve indoor air quality (IAQ)
by more thoroughly removing contaminants from carpet, such
as fungal spores and bacteria that can become airborne and
contribute to indoor air pollution. The Tsunami allows you
to clean for both appearance and health, as advocated by former
EPA administrator and indoor air quality expert, Michael Berry.
The
Tsunamia perfect fit for cleaning box cars as well as
office areas, schools, retail and hospitality or wherever
there's carpet! Contact us today to locate your local dealer
for a demonstration.
|

Tests
show that one person with a high flow extractor is able
to remove 2.16 times the amount of soil in less time than
two using a conventional self-contained extractor. Contact
you local Pacific sales rep today for a demonstration to
see for yourself the cleaning power of the Tsunami extractor!
